De enorme schare enthousiaste toeschouwers aan wal en op het water en de 29 enthousiaste soloschippers die om 13.02 uur vanaf de startlijn van Les Sables d'Olonne vertrokken, werden getrakteerd op perfecte weersomstandigheden voor de start van de legendarische non-stop solo race rond de wereld.
Alles verliep perfect voor onze vloot van 42 Highfields die voor de veilige aftrap van het evenement zorgden.
