Die vielen begeisterten Zuschauer an Land und auf dem Wasser sowie die 29 unerschrockenen Soloskipper, die um 13:02 Uhr von der Startlinie in Les Sables d'Olonne aufbrachen, wurden mit perfekten Wetterbedingungen für den Start des legendären Solorennens um die Welt ohne Zwischenstopp belohnt.
Alles lief perfekt für unsere Flotte von 42 Highfields, die für einen sicheren Start der Veranstaltung sorgten.
