The Classic 340 E, which was unveiled at boot Düsseldorf on Saturday, is the result of continuous innovation by Highfield Boats, as the company explores new opportunities to make boating easy and enjoyable. The addition of the ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo Electric Outboard Motor provides clean, efficient and reliable power at 9.9HP, in both salt and fresh water. There’s no messy fuel or oil leaks and being electric, it’s exhaust-free, so every trip is pleasant and, of course, eco-friendly. Lightweight and compact, the outboard is easy to carry around, whether stored ashore or onboard.
Like the rest of Highfield’s RIB and tender range the CL340 E features a recyclable and durable aluminium hull and is built to an exceptional quality finish. Designed to work hard in every climate the tender’s full length keel guards make it ideal for beach-hopping days with friends and family. A double decked floor will keep your feet dry too. With its 3.4m length and 1.7m width the 340 E will comfortably carry five people.
“We are thrilled to include the CL340E powered by the ePropulsion Navy 6.0 Evo in our tender range”, comments Mathilde Delfour, Highfield’s European Managing Director. “We are looking forward to equipping existing and new clients with this reliable, efficient and eco-conscious solution.” Looking towards future developments, Delfour states “Stay tuned, there’s more to come!”
Danny Tao, Co-Founder and CEO of ePropulsion says: “We are excited to be part of the rise in more sustainable boating. The partnership between Highfield and ePropulsion will bring a new eco-friendly option to the marine market, expanding the opportunities for boaters to go zero emission.” He adds ” We look forward to working with Highfield continuously in the electrification of boats to meet a range of market needs.”
