Honda Marine has entered into a strategic partnership with Highfield Marine, which will see a range of Highfield RIBs sold exclusively in the UK with Honda outboards.
The agreement marks the next phase in Honda’s boatbuilder alliance programme, which offers full boat packages in partnership with premium manufacturers, delivering the complete ‘turnkey’ solutions which many UK customers are increasingly looking for.
Initially, the agreement will cover Highfield’s ‘Classic’ and ‘Ocean Master’ RIBs which have evolved from over 25 years of development in some of the toughest conditions in the world and hold an enviable reputation as tough and reliable. The boats also have aluminium hulls which are strong, easy to repair, versatile and lightweight. Importantly, aluminium hulls come with strong environmental credentials; because they’re lighter, less power is required to propel them through the water, which in turn means less fuel is needed and thus, emissions are reduced. In addition, aluminium hulls are totally recyclable.
